Pet-Vet-Advocacy (Service Available by Sept. 15th)

Pet Vet AdvocacyWe know that your relationship with your veterinarian is very important. We also appreciate that there's probably nothing as important and valuable as the veterinary care your doctor provides to your pet.

Many times, a pet parent is not satisfied with the care provided and/or the costs for the care. Sometimes a pet owner may simply question or not understand treatment plans prescribed by the veterinarian. More often than not, trust and confidence is turned over completely to the doctor and/or other veterinary staff.

What do you do when you incur huge expenses and your pet doesn't get any better, or worse yet, your pet passes away? What do you do if your veterinarian prescribes tests or major surgery for things that you don't understand, or feel are unwarranted or unnecessary. Who do you turn to for advocacy?

iPetLover's Pet-Vet-Advocacy will help you communicate with your veterinarian and will intervene on your behalf when you feel something isn't quite right, or if you have a major complaint in how your pet was cared for by veterinary staff.  Most times, this is an extremely uncomfortable spot for the pet parent to be in and they just don't know what to do or who to turn to for some kind of help.

That's why we're here - - - to help you. For a nominal fee and with your direction and authorization of course, we'll contact your veterinarian by letter and with a phone call on your behalf requesting that they reach out to you with a review of treatment, costs, and reasons for care provided to work out a satisfactory outcome or resolution. Our advocacy will help to foster the best relationship with your veterinarian. Also of major concern to most people are the veterinarian's charges, which often, spin out of control. We are a secondary, objective resource to help maintain good feelings between the pet parent and the veterinarian, keep communication open, and encourage movement towards satisfaction or resolution. If you'd like, and based on the nature of the problem or your concern, we can take the first step in connecting you with the State Veterinary Medical Examining Board.

We appreciate that most people love their veterinarians. However, we also know that when your pet has a health issue, it can be overwhelming and traumatic for you, the pet parent, and the pet. We're here for you with some basic communication venues to help you when you are engaged in uncomfortable spots with your veterinarian team.
